Our Story
Welcome to the celebration of our love.
A story of good fortune and fate. We met in September 2020, the pandemic led us both to online dating, Thank you Hinge! After our first date we were both smitten.. that feeling when you find the companion of your dreams. Unfortunately, due to a misstep or two we lost touch for almost a year.
As fate would have it, on October 5, 2021, we were both on the trail at Buffalo Bayou Park near downtown Houston when our paths crossed again. Since that day we have not looked back! We enjoy traveling, cooking, working out together, and running.
Fun Fact: Prior to our first date in Fall 2020 we both ran The Woodlands half marathon on March 7, 2020.
In July 2022, we traveled to Aruba on our first trip together to celebrate our birthdays and Jennifer's 30th! We parasailed, soaked up a lot of sunshine, enjoyed beautiful sunsets, and where we fell in love. During the course of many adventures around the world, we overcame fears like heights together by getting on a hot air balloon ride over the Teotihuacan pyramids in Mexico. A trip to Mt Hood, Oregon to ski and snowboard and Jennifer's 1st Ski trip. There were many falls and laughs, we learned to pick each other up and enjoy the beautiful path. The best of all was our trip to Jamaica where Matthew surprised Jennifer by proposing along the beach and where we took our 1st step into forever together! July 6, 2023
